The 2026 WCA Conference will be held October 9-10, 2026 in Madison, WI. Presentations will occur on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10. Sessions on Friday will be 2 hour workshops. Sessions on Saturday will be 1 hour breakout sessions.
Proposals must be submitted by July 1.
Directions: Please submit all requested information. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. Proposals will NOT be considered unless submitted on this form. If all fields are not complete upon submission, your form will not be accepted. Please be prepared to have all information that is being requested.
All presenters are required to register for the conference by September 1. Failing to register for the conference will lead to the session's cancellation.

By submitting a proposal, you understand that you are committing to this opportunity and are expected to be present should your proposal be accepted.

Notes:
- Please be grammatically correct when writing your proposal, including titles, as both will be published as you write them.
- Please ensure that you have included the names and emails of all presenters. Do not list additional names unless they will be in attendance for the presentation. Requests for additional presenters after the submission due date will not be accepted.
- The primary presenter must hold a state license/have higher level education. Any unlicensed person MUST be accompanied by a licensed person that will not only be present during the presentation, but must also lead the presentation (in accordance with NBCC).
- If submitting a proposal regarding ethics, please provide ethical code(s) and a brief explanation how you plan to address the ethical code(s).
- Presenters must register for the conference by September 1, 2026. If not registered by this time, the session may be removed from the conference.
- Accepted presenters will receive 50% off of their registration, provided the lead presenter is a WCA member(or member of ACA if not from Wisconsin) and all are registered by September 1. The discounted period of registration will end on October 1. No other compensation is provided by WCA.
- Friday sessions will last 2 hours and Saturday breakout sessions will last for 1 hour. Please be available to present the entire day as we build our session rotation schedule based on many factors. We cannot guarantee a particular time slot or time of day for presentations. All presentations will occur in person at the event.
